Sea Delight, LLC.
Sea Delight, LLC.
✕Sea Delight, LLC was founded in 2006 by Eugenio and Margarita Sanchez, the owners of ADS Seafood, LLC, as an initiative that sought to target the market of high quality frozen and fresh seafood products. Since then, Sea Delight has grown to be one of the major importers and distributors of frozen seafood into the US. They are also widely recognized as an industry leader in supporting responsible practices in the seafood industry.
The team at Sea Delight is proud of their membership in Fish Choice, their partnership with Ocean Wise and their membership and support for other major conservation NGOs and organizations. Sea Delight also works with their suppliers to help them partner with these groups and to guide them in compliance with the USDC SIMP traceability program as well as other traceability systems. The team supports fishery stakeholders as they work toward the goal of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification as well. Sea Delight has also demonstrated their commitment to sustainability through their comprehensive sustainable seafood policy, which can be viewed on their website.
Sea Delight’s commitment to sustainable seafood goes well beyond their own practices. Sea Delight is a member in good standing of both the International Pole and Line Foundation (IPNLF) and the Indonesian Pole & Line and Handline Fisheries Association (AP2HI) and supports their work with "one line - one fish" yellowfin tuna fisheries in Indonesia. Sea Delight is also a member in good standing and working group participant in both the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI) and the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST).
Superior products, excellent customer service, and a commitment to responsible business practices have grown Sea Delight, LLC, and its sister companies into market leaders and international conservation specialists in the seafood industry.
