Located in the heart of the Acadian Peninsula on Canada’s east coast - Conchyliculture Gloucester Shellfish Co. is an aquaculture farm specializing in sustainable shellfish. Growing bay scallops, blue mussels, and eastern oysters in the legendary waters of the Bay of Caraquet, Conchyliculture Gloucester Shellfish Co. is the only oyster farm in the area to utilize suspended cultures which have been found to provide the best nutrients and temperatures for optimal growth rates.

Operating under a mission that prioritizes the sustainability and overall health of their surrounding marine ecosystem, Conchyliculture Gloucester Shellfish Co. continually strives to research new harvesting methods that minimizes environmental impact. In 2005 Conchyliculture Gloucester Shellfish Co. was awarded the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation Award for their product traceability and shellfish inventory application. Opening their doors to their customers, Conchyliculture Gloucester Shellfish Co. offers tours of their farm to learn first-hand about shellfish production, as well as recipes that best enhance the flavors and quality of their products.
